Next door to the estate is the 600-acre The Hambidge Center, the oldest artist’s residency program in the southeast. Along with artist talks, gallery exhibits and other small events. They also have a sustainable farm on-site with a working grist mill (get local flour!) accessible from the gravel paths on the estate.
