For a microwedding venue that is steeped in history and Victorian beauty, look no further!
We are proud to present our newest premium venue: The historic Trammell House in Marietta, which is located just off of the town square within walking distance of many great restaurants and shops.
Built in 1887, this Queen Anne Victorian has been lovingly and painstakingly restored by Douglas and Rachel Frey over many years. Extensive research went into the restoration and literally no detail was spared in returning this house to its former glory, which has been included in books and featured in blogs and newspapers.
Guests arrive and are immediately greeted by the cheerful paint and all the beautiful trimmings one expects of a classic Victorian home. The traditional wrap around front porch provides ample covered room for your ceremony, which overlooks a small side garden. The inside of this home is just as beautiful. With the help of a professional decorator, the Frey’s have created a lovely mixture of contemporary and antique. Not too proper and not too homey, it is just right for modern couples seeking a historic backdrop for their intimate wedding. Did I mention that the formal staircase in the hallway was just made to be in wedding photos?
